This Plant Manager will oversee a small production facility manufacturing architectural coatings, both powder and liquid. Responsibilitiees include production, shipping receiving, quality and administrative personnel. This plant will soon become this Division'e flagship with major expansion plans in the making (1 to 2 years). Candidates should have a strong manufacuring background in coatings (architectural coatings preferred); knowledge of concrete related products and technology helpful.

Provide technical assistance on construction sites, to contractors; training contractors in application procedures; assisting sales personnel with technical problem solving and specifications; product demos, etc. Also forensic analysis of product failures. Requires technical service experience in construction products, including cementitious products, concrete repair, masonry products, waterproofing, architectural coatings.

Duties are focused on environmental compliance and product stewardship for this chemical products manufacturer. Requirements are 3 to 5 years experience in regulatory compliance(Clean Air, Emergency Planning/Right to Know, Clean Water, etc.) also MSDS and product labeling. Background and knowledge of chemical hazards in manufacturing, regulatory agency negotiations required.
